Cogentech has obtained the ISO9001:2015 certification from Bureau Veritas for:
- Development and provision of post-genomic services for biomedical research for the Milan and Catania sites.
- Development and provision of diagnostic services as a specialized laboratory in Medical Genetics for its Cancer Genetic Testing Lab (CGTlab).
- Design and provision of training courses for licensing and technical upgrading for its Animal Facility.
The management system of Cogentech has been evaluated and deemed compliant with the requirements of the standard UNI PdR 125:2022 regarding measures implemented to ensure gender equality in the workplace.
The CGT Lab has obtained SIGUCERT certification from the Italian Association of Human Genetics.
CGT Lab is accredited by the Italian accreditation body ACCREDIA in accordance with ISO:15189. ISO:15189 accreditation certifies to its users not only that the Laboratories implement and keep under control a quality management system, but also the competence of the Laboratory staff in providing technically valid results with reference to the examinations subject to accreditation. The Laboratory is UNI EN ISO 15189:2024 accredited with ACCREDIA (number 01572) for Flexible Field Medical Genetics examinations.
In addition, the CGTlab is participating regularly to regional (VEQ), national (ISS) and european (EMQN) quality verifications.
